چکیده
Abstract In this paper, the dynamic behavior of rolling element bearings with localized faults on inner and outer rings is investigated. A nonlinear mathematical model developed five degrees freedom considering rotor unbalance. bearing model, nonlinearity caused by Hertzian contact forces radial internal clearance. The fourth-order Runge–Kutta technique used to solve coupled equations motion numerically. Nonlinear vibration response housing can be obtained in both time frequency domains. An experimental verification numerical presented where measurements for defective ball are compared results. Envelope spectra results show similar that measured signals. parametric analysis conducted investigate effect system parameters using waveforms, orbit plots, bifurcation diagrams. demonstrate shows periodic, quasi-periodic chaotic motions because varying rotational speeds defect width. proposed contributes toward improved design better health monitoring practice.

A New Restructured Shaded Pole Induction Motor- 3D Finite Element Analysis and Experimental Verification
Shaded pole induction motors, despite the simplicity and low cost, are difficult to analyze particularly in the equivalent circuit methods, due to the asymmetric structure, saturation, harmonics, inaccurate estimation of leakage inductances and skew. Hence, 3D numerical methods could be very useful in the design and optimization stage. This paper presents the 3D transient finite element analysi...

A classification technique using Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier for detection of rolling element bearing fault is presented here. The SVM was fed from features that were extracted from of vibration signals obtained from experimental setup consisting of rotating driveline that was mounted on rolling element bearings which were run in normal and with artificially faults induced conditio...
متن کاملNonlinear Vibration Signature Analysis of High Speed Rotor Due to Defects of Rolling Element
This paper presents a mathematical model to investigate the nonlinear dynamic behavior of a high speed rotor-bearing system due to defects of rolling elements. Two defects have been considered for the study, one defect as off-sized rolling elements and other defect as rolling element waviness. In the formulation, the contacts between rolling elements and inner/outer races are considered as nonl...
متن کاملRolling Element Bearing Faults Detection, Wavelet De-noising Analysis
The wavelet de-noising technique with wavelet based function has been used in this paper for bearing fault detection. The applications of the wavelet de-noising show that the fault pulses in time-domain of the de-noised signals are easily to be detected as a result of removing the covering noise, which is not possible through the time-domain analysis of the original signal. Furthermore, the rec...
